Ongoing Registration
PhD students need to formalise their ongoing registration every academic year within the set deadline.
For PhD students, the academic year runs from 1st October to 30th September of the following year
Ongoing registration is done over Acadèmic, except for returning PhD students who first enrolled on the programme before the 2021-22 academic year, who must do it through UIBdigital > Formació (Training) > Matrícula (Enrolment) > Automatrícula (Self-enrolment)
No documentation is required for ongoing registration.
Where you have a renewal request pending resolution, you will need to wait until it is resolved. If the enrolment period has ended, you will need to contact the admin services at the following e-mail: <escoladedoctorat
uib.es>.
Before they are allowed to defend their thesis, students must formalise their ongoing registration for the corresponding academic year and pay the fees for the viva defence, which are set out in the Decree governing public fees for academic and administrative services.
